Two months ago, I was heavily into letting agents run wild in sandboxes and being able to interact with them from both my laptop and phone.
During that time, I was using a combination of Claude remote sessions and OpenClaw. It was a mess. Claude keeps going down, and remote sessions break. OpenClaw is like a toddler, it has good intentions, but has a hard time following instructions.
But one thing was clear, I need an agent that can help me manage my digital life and hand over work to autonomous agents. All of this needs to be available from anywhere, no matter if I’m on a plane with poor internet, working in the office, or on the phone in a forest.
I kept dreaming about a better tool, I started taking notes and researching, and then I got an opportunity to work on in for a month.
Jarek and I paired on the project and started with the idea of democratizing AI, making it easy to use for anyone.
In reality, we built a powerful tool that can manage all your personal and professional AI needs.
Meet Roomy
Roomy isn’t a productivity tool, it’s your partner. Ask it anything, just like you would ask a friend. When you start having too many parallel conversations, open a thread to stay focused.
But chatting can be draining, and Roomy knows that. It won’t suffocate you with mountains of text. Instead, it will generate interfaces as you chat to keep replies focused and easy to follow. If it needs your input, it will give you a form with short, focused questions.

When you need to focus on a project or just want to separate a part of your life, go to a new room. There’s a space for your library, so all your data is in one place. If you need to analyze or modify the data, do it directly from the library.

Rooms are where you do serious work, so start as many chats as you need. If it gets overwhelming, just ask Roomy to store it as a task, or even better, to work on it in the background while you focus on something else.

As soon as Roomy needs your help or is done, it will let you know. Or you can just go to a single place and review your day, see what requires your attention, and what’s done.

Because Roomy is isolated in sandboxed environments, it won’t bother you by asking for permissions. Roomy will simply focus on getting the work done. If it’s missing a tool, it will install it, if the tool isn’t enough, it will write its own and run it.
Over time, Roomy will grow on you, it will become a capable partner that you trust, and it will be time to start automating.
Roomy is happy to work while you sleep, so ask it to do recurring work on a schedule or while you are away. This way, you don’t need to wait for Roomy, you can start whenever you are ready.
Connect it to your existing tools, so it can access the data it needs and perform actions you trust it to do.
And now that Roomy can do everything you want, ask it to build apps that perfectly fit your needs. Apps are deeply integrated into Roomy, they can use the library, create tasks, run scheduled actions, and use any tool that the operating system offers.
Roomy understands what your apps can do and is capable of interacting with the app, just tell it what you need.
If Roomy concludes that the best way for you to reach a goal is by using one of your apps. It will display only that part of the app inside the chat, so you don’t need to leave the chat and navigate through app screens.

Roomy learns from you. When you ask it to remember something, it will make sure it doesn’t forget. Every night it will reflect on the previous day and write a journal entry. Because rooms are isolated from each other, Roomy will define a unique identity for each room.
What’s next for Roomy?
We slowed down development and are focused now on using the tool, polishing agent instructions, and adding small UI improvements.
As a next step, we should add more connectors because they will enable Roomy to reach its full potential.
For us to be able to focus more on Roomy, it needs users, and I hope to reach more users by enabling OpenClaw users to use Roomy as an interface to chat with their agents.
